Hydraulic cylinders are commonly used in industry to build up efficient machines in which pressurized oil is used to generate linear force. Manufacturers of hydraulic systems need to pay special attention at components cleanliness and tightness during the whole production time. Small particles, water and even air bubbles can spoil the functioning of the future hydraulic system. To meet those demanding requirements we have designed and developed a new self tightening cap whose main task is to protect hydraulic elements during washing, painting and other production processes. The cap with improved tightness ability protects oil connections in hydraulic cylinder and is operator friendly at the same time. New design proves to be a better solution than a cap + washer / oring one used often where absolute tightness is a must.
